As important as insulation is to the comfort and efficiency of your home, so is having a tight envelope. Think of the house envelope as a wind breaker jacket. You can go outside on a cold windy day in a sweater (your insulation) but without a wind breaker shell you would still be cold and loose much heat.

We test the air tightness of your house using a blower door. We measure the volume of air evacuated and the pressure differential which provides a good indicator how your homes envelope compares to other homes. The blower door also helps us to identify where the air is leaking into the house.
