Solar Site Assessments

Proper placement of photovoltaic and solar hot water systems require a clear understanding of how much sunlight that site will have throughout the year. In the winter months, the sun is lower in the sky and can be blocked during part of the day. It is also important to factor in not only shade from trees today, but the shade that will be caused by trees as they grow. A tree that is not causing sunlight blockage today, could very well cause sunlight blockage 10 years from now.

The Green Home Doctors perform this type of analysis and study and have trained and certified resources available to help you with your solar projects.
